Welcome to our website. We understand that this may be your first point of contact with us and hope that you will find the information useful. We know that selecting a new school is a very important decision and so we would welcome the chance to show you around our school in person too.

Our school offers fantastic facilities all set in an idyllic rural location. The school has 5 well equipped, light and airy classrooms plus a library, quiet teaching spaces, good sporting facilities, a pavilion with an outside classroom, a sensory garden and hall. Each class benefits from having a full time teacher and a full time teaching assistant giving a good adult to child ratio.

At Rushall School we are committed to teaching the whole child and always aim to meet the needs of each person. Teachers plan work to match the needs and interests of the pupils within their class ensuring that they know where each child is within their learning journey and the next steps needed to ensure good progress. Many extra activities are incorporated to ensure that learning is positive, exciting and beneficial to all involved. Feedback from children and parents as well as in our SATs results, which in recent years have been excellent, confirm that children thrive as part of the Rushall family .

The children know each other well and this is fostered through working and playing together. The skills led curriculum is enhanced by many firsthand experiences such as trips out, visitors coming into school and whole school themed days and weeks. We strongly believe that working together develops a sense of family and community leading to a sense of fairness, respect, trust, care and kindness. Children are encouraged to persevere in all aspects of school life and achievements are celebrated.

Parents are very supportive of the school and we have a very busy PTFA! Parent helpers are very welcome within in all classrooms and we like to make the most of parental expertise to broaden the children’s horizons and to enrich learning experiences. We see learning as a partnership between home and school and to this end offer many opportunities for parents to work with us to support learning such as regular reporting of pupil progress, workshops for parents to learn of the new methods we use in school and class newsletters each term

We are very proud of what we offer so please do visit us. We very much look forward to welcoming you to our school and to working with you to ensure your child can be the best they possibly can
