Rushall CE VA School

PSHE

At Rushall we follow the SCARF programme of study for our Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE). Scarf stands for Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship. These are the themes which underpin all of our PSHE sessions. SCARF provides a whole school approach to promoting positive behaviour, mental health, wellbeing, resilience and achievement and supports us with meeting the statutory requirements of the Relationships and Health Education programme.

SCARF have an excellent support site for parents and carers called Families. On this site you will find support with a range of topics including screen use, mental health and supporting your children with talking about sensitive topics like puberty. You will also find activities you can do with your child at home linked to the SCARF themes of learning. Within this section you will find a link to ' Confidence with Number' which offers support and guidance with Maths anxiety.
