Bloom Class
Welcome to Bloom class, we are named after the poet Valerie Bloom, who was born in Jamaica in 1956, but moved to England in 1979.
In Bloom, our Reception children are taught by Mrs Johnstone and Mrs Stenning is their teaching assistant. We support the children's learning through continuous provision by providing a mixture of adult-led and child-led experiences which are exciting, engaging and challenging for the children to participate in.
Learning takes place both inside and outside and the children are offered alternative experiences depending on the environment.
Our aim is to support all our children to become capable and independent, critical thinkers, problem solvers and enthusiastic learners.
